A peculiar night for reigning MVP Nikola Jokic who was ejected after slamming his shoulder into Markieff Morris

Everything seemed perfect for reigning MVP Nikola Jokic against the Miami Heat, as he reached triple-double figures to help the Denver Nuggets get a 113-96 win.

Jokic posted 25 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists prior to being ejected, following an altercation with Heat‘s Markieff Morris, into which the Serbian big man shoved his shoulder, resulting in a neck injury of the later.

Will Barton added 25 points and Jeff Green had 13 points for the Nuggets, while Jimmy Butler had 31 points to lead the Heat, and Duncan Robinson posted 13 points.

Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks didn’t let a slow start hold them back to get a 108-92 victory against the New Orleans Pelicans at home.

Doncic led the way for the Mavs with 25 points, Tim Hardaway Jr. had 17 and Kristaps Porzingis posted 12 points and 8 rebounds.

On the other end of the court, Jonas Valanciunas paced the Pelicans with a double-double of 22 points, 11 rebounds and Josh Hart also added 22 points.

Nikola Vucevic was among the top contributors as the Chicago Bulls grabbed a 118-95 victory over the Brooklyn Nts, adding 11 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. DeMar DeRozan was the leading scorer for the Bulls with 28, while Zach LaVine posted 24 points.

Kevin Durant went off with 38 points and 10 rebounds for the Nets, and LaMarcus Aldridge posted 19 points coming from the bench.

Julius Randle had 31 points to lead the New York Knicks to a 103-96 win against the Philadelphia 76ers who lost their second game at home this season. Evan Fournier added 11 points and 6 rebounds for the Knicks, while on the other end, Furkan Korkmaz led the Sixers with 19 points and Andre Drummond had a game-high 25 rebounds along with 14 points.

Steph Curry erupted with a 50-point performance and 9 three-pointers to lift Golden State Warriors to a 127-113 win over the Atlanta Hawks at home.

Trae Young added 28 points, 9 assists for the visitors and Bogdan Bogdanovic left the court with 17 points.
