Ivica Zubac stepped up in the Clippers’ victory over Miami Heat with a double-double performance

Three contests went down Thursday night in the NBA.

Ivica Zubac posted a season-high performance with 18 points, 11 rebounds and 2 blocks in 29 minutes as the LA Clippers grabbed a 112-109 victory against the Miami Heat.

Paul George led all Clippers’ scorers with 27 points and Eric Bledsoe had 21 against the short-staffed Heat.

Bam Adebayo had a double-double of his own with 30 points, 11 rebounds to pace the Heat, Kyle Lowry followed with 25 points and Tyler Herro posted 23.

The Indiana Pacers managed to break through Utah Jazz‘s homecourt with a 111-100 win, led behind a 30-point performance by Malcolm Brogdon. T.J. McConnell added up 21 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists, while Domantas Sabonis produced 6 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the Pacers.

Donovan Mitchell had 26 points for the Jazz and Rudy Gobert exited the game with 19 points, 11 rebounds.

Gary Trent Jr. and Fred VanVleet hit back-to-back threes in crunch time and the Toronto Raptors escaped with a 115-109 victory against the Philadelphia 76ers on the road.

VanVleet led the way with 32 points for the Raptors, and Trento added 20, while Svi Mykhailiuk had 5 points, 4 rebounds in 16 minutes coming from the bench.

Tyrese Maxey’s 33-point performance wasn’t enough for the Sixers, who lost their fourth game at home this season. Furkan Korkmaz also added 9 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the hosts.
