Giannis joined Willie Naulls for a unique record as the Bucks topped the Magic

Plenty of NBA action went down on Saturday night with several players standing out and leading their teams to victories.

Starting with Giannis Antetokounmpo, who helped the Milwaukee Bucks grab a 117-108 victory over the Orlando Magic while joining Willie Naulls for a unique record.

Giannis became the first player with 30 points, 20 rebounds and 5 assists in less than 35 minutes for the first time since Naulls did it way back in 1959. The Bucks star poured 32 points, 20 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 blocks and 2 steals in just 30 minutes on the court in this win.

R.J. Hampton had 19 points, 9 assists coming from the bench for the Magic. The two teams will meet again Monday in Milwaukee.

Rudy Gobert lifted the Utah Jazz to a 123-105 victory against the Sacramento Kings on the road with 21 points and 14 rebounds, in the team’s third straight blowout.

Mike Conley added 17 points for Utah, Jordan Clarkson had 16 and Bojan Bogdanovic posted 10. On the other end of the court, Richaun Holmes paced the Kings with 22 points and 7 rebounds and Harrison Barnes had 18 points.

The Atlanta Hawks keep going strong at home and beat the Charlotte Hornets 115-105, led behind Clint Capela, who posted a double-double with 20 points, 15 rebounds. Danilo Gallinari came off the bench to add 16 points and 6 rebounds for the Hawks and Bogdan Bogdanovic posted 7 points and 2 assists.

Miles Bridges led the way for the Hornets with a game-high of 35 points, 10 rebounds, while Lonzo Ball recorded a triple-double with 15 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds.

Dennis Schroder and Jayson Tatum combined 62 points to lead the Boston Celtics to a 111-105 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder. Tatum had a game-high with 33, and Schroder posted 29 along with 6 assists and 4 rebounds.

Luguentz Dort had 16 points for the Thunder that went down to 2-6 on the road and 6-10 overall, and Josh Giddey posted 15 points.

A Lithuanian “face off” went down in Indiana, with the Pacers grabbing a 111-94 win over the New Orleans Pelicans. Domantas Sabonis led his team with a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds along with 6 assists. On the other end, Pelicans‘ big man Jonas Valanciunas had 19 points, 13 rebounds and 2 assists, as the team remains at 1-9 on the road.

Evan Fournier posted 19 points and Alec Burks had 20 to lead the New York Knicks to a 106-99 victory against the Houston Rockets.  Christian Wood led all scorers for the Rockets that remain winless on the road with 18 points and Alperen Sengun had 10 points, 6 rebounds coming from the bench.

Washington Wizards survived the Miami Heat 103-100 at home with a fourth-quarter rally, as Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Spencer Dinwiddie each scored 16 points and hit two 3-pointers down the final stretch to lift the hosts. Deni Avdija came from the bench to contribute 8 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in 27 minutes.

Jimmy Butler couldn’t save the day for the Heat, despite his 29-point performance and the Wizards have now split the home-and-home series with Miami.

Damian Lillard posted a season-high with 39 points to help the Portland Trail Blazers prevail over the Philadelphia 76ers 118-111 at home. Jusuf Nurkic added a double-double for the winners with 11 points and 11 rebounds, while Norman Powell dropped 17 points.

Tobias Harris and Tyrese Maxey both posted 28 points for the Sixers.
