The Brooklyn Nets will miss Kevin Durant for their upcoming game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Christmas Day. The team announced on Friday that Durant is still in the league’s health and safety protocols, which he entered on December 18.

The Nets still have 10 players in the league’s protocols and have had three games postponed so far, though, despite their absences, they are expected to play as scheduled against the Lakers.

With Durant out, the Nets expect the return of James Harden to action, as he has been cleared of the protocols, as coach Steve Nash told reporters Friday.  Paul Millsap and Jevon Carter are also expected to return Saturday.
