Jokic and the Nuggets take down Curry and the Warriors

Nikola Jokic and Steph Curry went at it as the Denver Nuggets came out on top against the Golden State Warriors

In a very close affair, the Denver Nuggets managed to get the best of the best team in the league, the Golden State Warriors, for an 89-86 road win.

Nuggets gambled away as much as 23 points of advantage but managed to hold on with superb defensive performance led by Nikola Jokic who delivered a crucial block as well.

Jokic also delivered on offense with 22 points, 18 rebounds, five assists while Steph Curry responded with 23 points. Facundo Campazzo had five points, seven assists on one side while Nemanja Bjelica had five points, eight boards on the other side.

 

Fournier scored 13 for the Knicks in the win over Minnesota while Alperen Sengun (ten points) and the Rockets couldn’t handle the LA Lakers led by LeBron James (32-11-11) and Russell Westbrook (24-12-10).

Furkan Korkmaz had ten points for Philadelphia which won over Toronto as Joel Embiid put up 36 points, 11 boards. Chris Boucher and Pascal Siakam scored 28 each for the Raptors. Svi Mykhailiuk had nine points.

Omer Yurtseven also had a solid performance with ten points and 14 rebounds as Miami beat Washington for which Davis Bertans scored 19 and Deni Avdija seven points.
