Giannis Antetokounmpo erupted with his fourth triple-double of the season and 29th overall to lead the Milwaukee Bucks past the Washington Wizards with a 112-98 victory at home.

Giannis scored 33 points, along with 15 rebounds and 11 assists and the Bucks bounced back after facing defeat to the Nuggets two days ago.

Jrue Holiday contributed to the Bucks’ efforts with 22 points, Bobby Portis posted 17 points and Khris Middleton had 13 for the defending champions.

On the other end of the court, Kyle Kuzma led the Wizards with 25 points and 11 rebounds, Montrezl Harrell added 20 and Deni Avdija had 6 points and 6 rebounds in 22 minutes coming from the bench.

Nikola Jokic was two assists shy of a triple-double of his own (21 points, 16 rebounds, 8 assists), though his efforts weren’t enough to help the Denver Nuggets extend their winning streak, falling to the Minnesota Timberwolves 130-115 on the road.

Karl-Anthony Towns paced the hosts with 24 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists, while Taurean Prince added 23 points and 9 rebounds and the Timberwolves grabbed their second straight win.

Brandon Ingram scored 26 points to help the New Orleans Pelicans overcome the Detroit Pistons 111-101 on the road and snapped a four-game skid.

Big man Jonas Valanciunas added a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds for the Pelicans and Willy Hernangomez was among the top contributors with 11 points and 4 rebounds.

Cory Joseph had 18 points for the Pistons, Jerami Grant followed with 17 and Frank Jackson added 14. The Pistons have now lost five of their last six games.

Zach LaVine added 26 points and big man Nikola Vucevic had 18 points and 13 rebounds for the Bulls, which grabbed their second straight win.

Wendel Carter tapped 24 points, Franz Wagner had 22 points and Cole Anthony posted 20 for the Magic.

Gary Trent Jr. went off with 33 points and Fred VanVleet posted 21 to lead the Toronto Raptors to a 110-106 victory against the Miami Heat, their third straight, to take a 2-1 lead in their series.

Bam Adebayo posted a double-double of 32 points, 11 rebounds, Tyler Herro added 18 points and Jimmy Butler had 16, and the Heat faced their third consecutive defeat.

Jordan Poole emerged as the man of the hour for the shortstaffed Golden State Warriors, to hand his team a 124-120 victory over the San Antonio Spurs on the road. Poole led the way with 31 points, in the wake of the absences of stars Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Andrew Wiggins. Damion Lee added 21 points for the Warriors and Moses Moody tapped 20.

Dejounte Murray fell short of a triple-double with 27 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists for the Spurs, while Keldon Johnson added 21 points.
