Kind of a win-win situation for Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James

LeBron James was in attendance for Super Bowl LVI, celebrated the Los Angeles Rams capturing the Super Bowl for the second time in franchise history, and was a big fan of the Pepsi Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show.

James, 37, socially distanced from the main crowd was among the multiple celebrities at SoFi Stadium. NBA stars spotted included Draymond Green, currently limited to the injury list of the Golden State Warriors.

The Lakers forward apparently supported the Rams, competing for the NFL championship at home, Inglewood, California. Either way, he would likely welcome Ohio’s Cincinnati Bengals holding on to wrap up a brilliant 2021-22 showing with the championship-clinching victory. Somewhat a win-win deal.

He certainly had a blast, especially during halftime and the trademark musical break. Rappers Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar headlined but James was really in the groove with special guest 50 Cent appearing upside-down and moving to In da Club, song released in 2003.

His good friend Odell Beckham Jr. scoring the first touchdown of the game was another moment of celebration for the Ohio-born four-time NBA champion. A late surge captained by quarterback Matthew Stafford led to a touchdown reception by Super Bowl MVP Cooper Kupp to win the game for the Rams.

In addition, James starred in a Super Bowl commercial. Placed in 2003, he was back to his teenage bedroom. “I can’t tell you everything, but if you want to make history, you’ve got to call your own shots,” he said in a discussion with his younger self, “We going to the league.”
