Washington Wizards held Luka Doncić under 30 points and won 113:105 against the Dallas Mavericks without the help of Kristaps Porzingins and Bradley Beal.

After scoring 24 in a loss to Orlando, Doncic almost had a double-double against the Wizards, but his 22 points and 9 assists weren’t enough for the Mavs to secure the win.

The Mavs opened the game with a 22-8 lead, but Washington fought back, and with the series of three-pointers in the fourth quarter pulled away. Kyle Kuzma had a big game for the winning side with 36 points.

Atlanta Hawks defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 104:95, with a monstrous performance from Clint Capela.

The 28-year-old center born in Geneva had a strong double-double against Joel Embiid and scored 18 points with 20 rebounds. It was his third 15/15 game this season.

Embiid, GM of the French national team Boris Diaw believes will play for the Blues in the future, led Philadelphia with 26 points and 13 rebounds. His second straight double-double after missing three games with the flu.

Miami Heat added another win, after outscoring the Charlotte Hornets in the overtime 117:112. French international Theo Maledon was scoreless for the losing side (two rebounds, and one assist).

Without injured Jusuf Nurkic (thigh), Portland took a road win against New Orleans Pelicans 106:95.

The Lithuanian big man Jonas Valanciunas scored seven points for the Louisiana team, with 11 rebounds.
