Monster performances by Giannis and Jokic were not enough for the Bucks and Nuggets

Giannis Antetokounmpo and Nikola Jokic were both dominant in close losses last night

The NBA night behind us had some incredible games and performances but non could match Giannis Antetokounmpo and Nikola Jokic. The Greek and the Serbian continue to dominate, but this time it did not translate into victories for the Bucks and Nuggets.

Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 45 points and added 22 rebounds and seven assists but the Bucks lost in OT in Chicago 119-113. Montenegro big man Nikola Vucevic had a double-double, 15 points, and 14 rebounds, and Goran Dragic from Slovenia added 12 points.

Similar to Giannis, Nikola Jokic stored 40, while adding seven rebounds and six assists but it was not enough for Denver in Sacramento. The Kings won 127-126. Domantas Sabonis had a dominant performance, 31 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists.

The champions, Golden State Warriors are back in the winning column. They overcame a Utah Jazz and Lauri Markkanen 112-107. The Finish superstar scored 29 points and added 16 rebounds.
