Lithuanian forward/center Domantas Sabonis was named the Player of the Week of the Western Conference.
Sabonis, 26, was tabbed alongside the Eastern Conference Player of the Week Jalen Brunson on Monday.
Over four games in the 13th week of the 2022-23 NBA Regular Season, he tallied 18.5 points, 14.3 rebounds, 10.3 assists, 0.5 steals, and 0.5 blocks per contest, including a triple-double against the Houston Rockets Friday. His solid showings powered the Sacramento Kings to four wins.
Among the other nominees for the Western Conference’s Player of the Week was Serbian superstar Nikola Jokic. Harrison Barnes, Josh Giddey, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Damian Lillard, and Ja Morant were shortlisted as well.
Following Barnes on the Eastern Conference list were Julius Randle, Joel Embiid, James Harden, Jayson Tatum, and Gabe Vincent.
