The 2024 NBA Draft presented by State Farm currently features 195 early entry candidates, including 38 young upstarts from Europe as international players.
The NBA announced the list of early entry candidates on Tuesday.
Early entries became eligible to be selected by NBA teams on June 26 or 27. However, international players can withdraw their names from consideration for the Draft and retain eligibility for future Drafts until Sunday, June 16. For NCAA players to retain eligibility for college basketball, the deadline is on May 29.
Europeans, including Alexandre Sarr, Nikola Topic, Zaccharie Risacher, Matas Buzelis, and Tidjane Salaun are expected to go from early entries to top picks on June 26.
Expanding the annual Draft to two days, the first round will be held on June 26 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., and the second round on Thursday, June 27 at ESPN’s Seaport District Studios in New York.
