In a potential preview of a series in the 2025 NBA Playoffs presented by Google, the Golden State Warriors took down the Los Angeles Lakers, 123-116.
Luka Doncic was held to 6/17 from the field, including 0/6 from beyond the arc. The Slovenian superstar finished with 19 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, and one block at crypto.com Arena.

“It’s not always about scoring. You can do other stuff on the court, such as rebounding and defense. So, I can help in some other ways,” added the Ljubljana native in a postgame press conference.
Beyond a losing effort opposite the Warriors, Maxi Kleber progressed to on-court activities, as announced before Thursday’s game. The German forward has been sidelined since undergoing surgery on his right foot on January 30, a few days before being traded away from the Dallas Mavericks alongside Doncic.
Another European option for head coach JJ Redick, Ukrainian Alex Len, was available but did not play for a sixth straight game.
Coming off the bench for the Warriors and logging almost 15 minutes, Dutch Quinten Post tallied four points, three assists, and one rebound.
From a 52-point display against the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday, Stephen Curry produced 37 points. Brandin Podziemski added 28 points.
