Following the 2024-25 NBA journey for Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Freak and his wife, Mariah Antetokounmpo, announced the birth of their fourth child, Aria Capri.
The couple, married in Greece during the previous offseason, welcomed three kids: Liam Charles in 2020, Maverick Shai in 2021, and Eva Brooke in 2023. The latest baby balances the tally between two boys and two girls.
Giannis had announced Mariah was pregnant in November.

On Tuesday, the Milwaukee Bucks were eliminated from the 2025 Playoffs presented by Google. Falling to the Indiana Pacers in five games ended the season. Antetokounmpo ended up with 30.6 points, 12.2 rebounds, 6.5 assists, 1.2 blocks, and 0.9 steals per game over 72 appearances.
Bouncing back, Giannis is expected to represent Greece in the EuroBasket 2025, before focusing on the NBA Preseason and the 2025-26 Regular Season. After debuting in the U20 European Championship 2013, the native of Athens went to the senior level with caps in the Olympic Games 2024, the FIBA World Cup 2014 and 2019, and the EuroBasket 2015 and 2022.
Beyond international action, the offseason can also feature a move away from the Bucks, if the current approach by involved parties alters to prompt a trade. Antetokounmpo was drafted by the Bucks with the 15th overall pick of the 2023 draft. A long stretch in Milwaukee is highlighted by winning the 2020-21 NBA championship as the Most Valuable Player of the 2021 Finals. In 2019 and 2020, he was named season MVP.
