The Milwaukee Bucks have agreed to a buyout with guard Vasilije Micić, according to Michael Scotto of Hoopshype.
This move opens the way for a Micic return to Europe, where he remains a hot commodity.
On the other side, this move helps Milwaukee to create more salary cap flexibility, assuming that Micic didn’t get the whole sum of his guaranteed $8.1M salary for the 2025-26 season.
Fenerbahce was presented to be the front runner to sign Micic in Europe; however, with the talks in Istanbul happening one month ago, it is still unclear where he will end up.
With the free agent market being limited, two-time EuroLeague champion Micic remains one of the top names in the European free agency, and since February, his wish for a return to Europe was well-documented with an asking price of 5M euros per season.
