Luka Doncic completed the purchase of the former home of Maria Sharapova in late August, as confirmed by several reports through the weekend.
The mansion, with several features requested by the retired tennis champion after tearing down the original structure, was bought for a sum of 25 million dollars.
Adding to a recent three-year contract extension with the Los Angeles Lakers, the 26-year-old combo guard cemented himself in the city with a new home in Manhattan Beach, located in southwestern Los Angeles. Before being unexpectedly traded from the Dallas Mavericks, a real estate deal concerning the purchase of $15 million home in Dallas was in the works.
Back in 2018, the Ljubljana native was selected by the Atlanta Hawks with the third overall pick of the annual NBA draft and then traded to the Mavs. Shining in the league went into reaching the NBA Finals 2024, a few months before being traded to the Lakers, midway through the 2024-25 Regular Season.
