San Antonio continues its impressive start to the 2025/26 season — and so does Victor Wembanyama.
The Spurs defeated the Brooklyn Nets 117-107 to improve to 3-0, with the French superstar once again leading the way.
After dropping 40 points in the season opener against the Dallas Mavericks and coming one block shy of a triple-double versus the New Orleans Pelicans, Wembanyama delivered another stellar performance. He recorded a double-double with 30 points and 14 rebounds to guide San Antonio past Brooklyn.
He also had six blocks, for a total of 18 since the start of the season! Nobody else has more than seven…
Dylan Harper followed with 20 points and eight assists, while Keldon Johnson added 19 points and seven rebounds for the Spurs.
On the other side, Cam Thomas poured in 40 points, becoming the fourth player in Nets history with double-digit 40-point games — joining Vince Carter, Kyrie Irving, and Kevin Durant — but lacked sufficient support.
Egor Demin contributed three points, four rebounds, and one assist in just under 19 minutes for Brooklyn, while Ben Saraf went scoreless but handed out five assists in less than 15 minutes on the floor.
