Victor Wembanyama had one more impressive outing as the Spurs remain second in the West

Victor Wembanyama proved once more that he is a phenomenon, just after being announced for the first time as an All-Star starter.

The French alien had a season-high seven 3-pointers and finished with 33 points and 10 rebounds as the San Antonio Spurs beat the Utah Jazz 123-110 on Monday.

For Utah, which was missing Lauri Markannen, Bosnian Jusuf Nurkic had 20 points and Ukrainian Svi Mykhailiuk added 10.

Another Frenchman, Alex Sarr, led the Wizards with 28 points, but the Clippers got the 110-106 road win in Washington behind 36 points by James Harden.

In Detroit, Jalen Brown missed at the buzzer andthe  Pistons beat the Celtics 104-103.
