Luka Doncic is excited about Adou Thiero’s development as the young Los Angeles Lakers forward prepares for his second NBA season.
Speaking to ESPN LA, Doncic singled out Thiero’s progress while expressing confidence in the Lakers’ new additions.
“I think there’s a lot of underrated guys in our group. It’s just I can’t name one specifically, but our new signings, I think they’re very underrated and they’re going to help us a lot,” Doncic said. “But what I saw from Adou this year and the improvement is insane. So, I’m very excited for him.”
Thiero, a second-round pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, is looking to earn a larger role in JJ Redick’s rotation after his rookie preparations were disrupted by recovery from left knee surgery.
