Miami Heat restricted free agent guard Tyler Johnson signed a four-year, $50 million offer sheet with the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday morning according to the Vertical.

The question now is if Miami, after losing Dwyane Wade, will match the offer and retain Johnson, even if the deal includes includes $18 million-plus and $19 million, plus “poison pill” provisions in years three and four designed to severely puncture the Heat‘s salary cap. Heat have three days to decide.

Meanwhile, the Mavericks have signed free agent forward Harrison Barnes to a four-year, $94 million maximum contract. Dallas owner Mark Cuban tweeted a photo shortly after the NBA’s moratorium ended showing the former Golden State player playfully handcuffed to president of basketball operations Donnie Nelson, with both smiling. It’s a joke based on last summer serial with DeAndre Jordan, who backed down from the verbal agreement with Dallas and eventually stayed with the Clippers. Barnes was a restricted free agent, but the Warriors didn’t retain his rights in order to sign Kevin Durant.

And look who’s back! Richard Jefferson returning to the Cavs on a two-year, $5 million contract.  The player who said after winning the championship title that he would retire, announced his return on Snapchat.
