“At last my dream came true and I am extremely pleased with the contract and the way they presented me to the teams and coaches”, Bogdanovic told reporters in Belgrade at a gathering of the Serbian team on Thursday.

Bogdanovic recently signed a contract with Sacramento Kings, and he also disclosed the details of the contract.

“The contract is officially $27 million, I do not know where to find the other information”, he says.

Bogdanovic noted how the vice president of basketball operations and general manager of Kings, Vlade Divac, and director of player personnel and development, Predrag Stojakovic, helped him a lot before signing the contract.

“Peja told me one important thing: They do not follow the European basketball and Euroleague in the first place, but I did know that, but he told me that I would not be much appreciated. It’s a literally a new basketball career. Even if you’ve built a name in the rest of the world, this means nothing in America, you’re starting everything from the beginning ,” Bogdanovic said.
