Once again, Euro-ballers came to play in the NBA with some notable performances. Others resulted in wins and others in losses.
The Celtics beat the Bucks in Milwaukee (96-89) with Daniel Theis (5 rebounds) earning his first career start.
Giannis Antetokounmpo’s tremendous effort wasn’t enough as he had 28 points , 10 boards, 7 assists and 3 steals in 41 minutes. Mirza Teletovic had 3 points.
In Chicago, the Bulls got their first win (91-86) of the season in expense of the Atlanta Hawks.
Lauri Markkanen hit a clutch three-pointer late and finished the game with a double-double 14 points and 12 boards.
For the losing side, Marco Belinelli had 23 points on 5-of-9 three pointers which was a game high.
Memphis got revenge for last night’s loss by beating the Mavericks 96-91. Marc Gasol was a “monster” once again with 26 points, 13 rebounds and 3 assists.
Dirk Nowitzki had 14 points and 7 boards while fellow German Kleber had 6 points and 4 boards.
The L.A. Clippers won in style ,(104-103) as Blake Griffin hit a game winning 3-pointer to beat the buzzer.
Danilo Gallinari added 16 points, 3 boards and 3 steals in a win.
For the Blazers, Jusuf Nurkic had 12 points and 8 rebounds.
In DeMarcus Cousins’ return to Sacramento “Boogie” was absolutely astonishing with 41 points, 23 rebounds, 6 assists against his former team, that resulted in a 114-106 win.
Bogdan Bogdanovic scored 10 points to go along with 2 boards and 4 assists with some highlight reel plays. Kosta Koufos added 8 points and 8 boards for the losing side.
