In a quiet, 4-game Sunday night Clint Capela was clearly the story of the day.
The Rockets got the easy win (118-95) in Indiana and Capela had a “monster” double-double with 20 points, 17 rebounds, an assist and a block.
He has 7 double-doubles in 11 games this season and is averaging a stellar 12.8 points on 69% shooting, to go along with 11 boards, 1.3 assists, 0.9 steals and 1.9 blocks.
The Swiss center clearly makes a case for most improved player thus far.
For the losing side, Bogdanovic couldn’t get it going finishing the game with 5 points while Sabonis had 17 points and 5 boards in 23 minutes.
The Celtics extended their winning streak to 12 straight despite playing without Kyrie Irving.
Daniel Theis chipped in with 2 points and 8 boards in a win.
