The Celtics had lost Kyrie Irving and still managed to win both games despite the absence of their leader.

Irving, returned to action against the Brooklyn Nets wearing a mask which for the second time in his young career.

The game against the Nets had “trap game” written all over it as the Celtics will now host the Golden State Warriors on Thursday and sometimes it’s hard for players to focus on games like these.

Boston took care of business (109-102) as usual and it was a team effort from start to finish.

German big-man, Daniel Theis, continues to give his team quality minutes of the bench. He had 2 points, 7 rebounds and and a block in 11 minutes.

Mozgov had 2 points and a rebound in 6 minutes for the losing side.

Now, all eyes will be on the matchup against the Warriors on Thursday as Boston will put their winning streak on the line against the champs.
