Double-double’s for Jokic, Nurkic, Saric and Markkanen and a big win for Bjelica over his Serbian buddy, Milos Teodosic.

The Timberwolves went to L.A. without Jimmy Butler and Nemanja Bjelica drew the start. The Serbian wingman had a big game-tying his season high with 18 points including some timely buckets in the fourth quarter.

“Professor Big Shots” added 9 boards, 4 assists and a steal in a win. For the losing side, Milos Teodosic had 15 points, 3 rebounds, 6 assists and a steal. Here’s the Serbian duel.

Lauri Markkanen had an impressive double-double against arguably the two best big men in the league, Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins.

The “Finnisher” had 14 points to go along with a career-high 17 rebounds, 2 assists, a steal and 2 blocks but his team’s efforts fell short as the Pelicans downed the Bulls 132-128 after double OT.

DeMarcus Cousins had a historic night with 44 points, 24 boards and 10 assists becoming the first player to put up such numbers since Kareem Abdul Jabbar.

Nikola Jokic helped the Nuggets edge the Blazers 103-100 in Denver. The “Joker” had a double-double with 16 points and 12 boards adding 5 assists, a steal and a block.

Jusuf Nurkic enjoyed a big night against his former team despite the loss. The “Bosnian Beast” also had a double-double 19 points & 12 rebounds adding one assist, 2 steals and 3 blocks.

Finally, Marc Gasol helped the Grizzlies beat the 76ers at home, 105-101. The Spanish star had 19 points, 6 boards and a steal. On the losing side, Frenchman Timothe Luwawu Cabarrott had 20 points and Dario Saric had a double-double, 22 points and 10 rebounds.
