Rudy Gobert and the Utah Jazz could not overcome the Houston Rockets and eventually got eliminated from the playoffs.

In the press conference after the fifth game of the series, Gobert was asked about Clint Capela, and he said the following about the 23-year old rising star: “He’s been getting better every year. Since I was watching him back in France, he came into the league as a late draft pick. I’m proud to see the way he is grown as a player, and it is exciting to watch.”

The ‘Stifle Tower’ was also asked about Utah’s up and down season: “It’s been amazing. Last summer no one had us making the playoffs, we had a rough start to the year, people thought that we were losing on purpose and now we were fighting for a spot in the Western Conference Finals. I’m excited about the future.”

Jae Crowder said that this is a start of a new era for the Utah Jazz. Gobert agrees: “For sure. We have room to grow and it is exciting.”
