Turkish forward Ersan Ilyasova scored a season-high 19 points and the Bucks cruised without the injured Giannis Antetokounmpo to beat the Toronto Raptors 124-109 in a showdown of the NBA’s last undefeated teams.
Milwaukee improved to 7-0 after a game in which both Giannis and Raptors star Kawhi Leonard were missing. Leonard was rested by the Raptors.
The Bucks‘ start to the season matches the 1971-72 club for best in franchise history. Spaniard Serge Ibaka with 30 points and nine rebounds was the best player of Toronto.
In San Antonio, the Spurs got the 113-108 win over Dallas, which was led by the best game yet of Slovenian Luka Doncic who scored 31 points.
