Nikola Mirotic put on a strong double-double performance but it wasn’t enough to push the Pelicans past the Spurs.

Nikola Mirotic recorded a double-double with 22 points and 16 rebounds but the Pelicans couldn’t overcome the Spurs who won 109-95.  This was the fifth straight loss for the New Orleans team.

In Portland, the Lakers managed to break the ‘curse’ of 16 losses in a row against the Blazers with a 114-110 win. Ivica Zubac played a solid game for the LA squad as he flirted with a double-double by scoring nine points and grabbing eight rebounds. Jusuf Nurkic, on the other side, pulled off the double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds.

Nikola Jokic (7 p) couldn’t find his shooting groove against Utah’s Rudy Gobert (12 p, 12 r) but he certainly compensated with 16 assists and ten rebounds in the Nuggets 103-88 win. The Serbian center was one assist away from tying his career-high.

Here are last night’s results and euro-scorers.
