Juancho Hernangomez was Denver Nuggets’ top scorer and set a season-high with 25 points in the 138-93 win against the Atlanta Hawks. The 23-year-old Spaniard forward got his second best NBA scoring performance. Nikola Jokic had 12 points and was one of the seven Nuggets players in double figures.
The Los Angeles Clippers got their 5th win in six games overcoming the fatigued San Antonio Spurs with a 116-111 win. Danilo Gallinari was among their leading scorers and finished the match with 19 points, Marcin Gortat had 7, Milos Teodosic and Boban Marjanovic didn’t play. Spurs’ Pau Gasol remained out due to his injury.
Clint Capela got his 9th 2018-19 double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds in Houston Rockets’ 107-86 victory against the Golden State Warriors. The rematch of last season’s Western Conference finals wasn’t a close affair, as the Texans cleared everything up building a 97-65 lead midway through the last quarter.
