Just hours after extending his contract with the Bucks for four more seasons for a total of $70 million, Eric Bledsoe celebrated on the court leading the Bucks to the 131-120 road win over the Lakers with 31 points, nine rebounds and five assists.

Giannis Antetokounmpo added 16 points, 15 rebounds and six assists in a close game which was decided in the last two minutes with a 15-2 run by the Bucks. Thanks to a 48-14 record Milwaukee became the first team this season that clinched a spot in the postseason, while the Lakers remain 10th in the West with a 30-32 record.

In the East, Lauri Markkanen made three free throws to give Chicago the lead for good late in the fourth overtime, and the Bulls overcame Trae Young’s career-high 49 points to beat the Atlanta Hawks 168-161 in the third-highest-scoring game in NBA history. The “Finnisher” finished the night with 31 points and 17 rebounds.
