Kevin Durant left Game 5 of the best-of-seven series between the Golden State Warriors and the Houston Rockets due to a strained right calf. The 30-year-old American forward landed awkwardly on his right foot following a jumper with 2:11 to go in the third quarter. However, his team secured the “W” and a 3-2 lead.

The question now is if he’ll be ready for Game 6. After the contest, the Warriors’ head coach Steve Kerr mentioned his player indeed suffered a calf injury not an Achilles adding that an MRI is scheduled for Thursday. It remains unclear if Durant will travel to Houston for Game 6, which will be played on Friday.

Possibly continuing without KD will certainly be an issue for the Californian organization. The Warriors pulled off a victory without him on Wednesday, but will have to adjust their rotations and miss out on a massive weapon if the Texas alumni is to sit out.
