Jokic not enough for Nuggets against Pelicans

Christmas day was full of action in the NBA for the European stars.

Nikola Jokic posted a double-double of 23 points and 10 rebounds, though he wasn’t able to lead Nuggets to the win over Pelicans, with the latter team prevailing 112-100.

Daniel Theis posted 13 points and six rebounds across 24 minutes in Boston Celtics‘ 118-102 victory over Toronto Raptors. Serge Ibaka posted 12 points and 8 rebounds in 23 minutes on the court for Raptors.

The Sixers prevailed over the Bucks with a 121-109 victory. Furkan Korkmaz was one of the main scorers with 16 points and three steals in 25 minutes coming from the bench. At the same time, Giannis Antetokounmpo had a double-double of 18 points, 14 rebounds, along with 7 assists in 30 minutes though he couldn’t lead the Bucks to victory in the end.

Golden State Warriors got past Houston Rockets and Clint Capela with a 116-104 win. The Swiss big man posted 10 points and 11 rebounds in 29 minutes.

Ivica Zubac helped LA Clippers get past LA Lakers (111-106) with 11 points and eight boards in his 17-minute presence on the court.
