Nikola Jokic drops career-high 47 points, Nuggets edge Hawks

Monday night brought some big-time plays for Europeans in the NBA, with Nikola Jokic going on a mission and stealing the show.

The Serbian big man enjoyed a career-high performance in Denver Nuggets‘ 123-115 win over Atlanta Hawks. He scored 47 points (16/25 FG), to go along with 8 rebounds and five assists.

Meanwhile, Bojan Bogdanovic led Indiana Pacers to a 128-126 win against New Orleans Pelicans with 35 points in 33 minutes. Rudy Gobert complemented his efforts with 9 points and 19 boards.

Luka Doncic tapped 21 of his 38 points in the third quarter and had his NBA-leading 11th triple-double of the season to lead the Dallas Mavericks past the Chicago Bulls 118-110. Maxi Kleber added 7 points for Dallas, while Lauri Markkanen led Bulls with 29 points and 9 boards.

San Antonio Spurs forced Bucks to their sixth defeat of the season (126-104) despite a nearly triple-double performance by Giannis Antetokounmpo (24/12/8).

Furkan Korkmaz posted six points and three rebounds coming from the bench in Philadelphia 76ers‘ 120-113 victory against Oklahoma City Thunder. On the opposing end, Danilo Gallinari had 18 points and seven rebounds in 29 minutes.

Nikola Vucevic came in clutch with a double-double of 11 points and 24 rebounds in Orlando Magic‘s 101-89 victory over Brooklyn Nets. Evan Fournier followed his lead with 11 points and five assists. At the same time, Rodions Kurucs came from the bench and contributed seven points in 12 minutes, while Dzanan Musa shared six in 14 minutes.

Domantas Sabonis flirted with triple-double figures as Indiana Pacers defeated Charlotte Hornets 115-104. The Lithuanian power forward dropped 18 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists, while Goga Bitadze added two points coming from the bench.

Anzejs Pasecniks had seven points and four rebounds in Washington Wizards‘ 99-94 win against Boston Celtics. Daniel Theiss finished with 8 points, seven rebounds and two assists on the other end of the floor.

Nemanja Bjelica dropped 8 points and 10 rebounds in Sacramento Kings‘ 111-98 victory against Golden State Warriors.
