This is not exactly a pretty season for Andrea Bargnani. Actually it has been his worst so far in the NBA, filled with poor numbers and disappointing performances.
According to CBS Sports the international Italian power forward/center is already in heavy talks with his team in order to reach an agreement for a contract buyout.
Although the Nets‘ efforts to trade Bargnani had proven to be futile, this might actually allow them to release him as is their wish. Moreover, perhaps it can help the player pursue a contract with another team in the championship more easily.
