Following a domestic fixture, Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv issued a press release to report and condemn attacks by team ultras on Tuesday.

Per the announcement, about 30 fans, linked to a group of fanatic supporters, physically attacked two team members, who were on their way to their respective vehicles, after Game 2 of a best-of-five series opposite Hapoel Gilboa Galil. During the game in Gan Ner, similar attacks were made against other attending supporters for their approval of the team’s move to Menora Mivtachim Arena. They also made threats against a journalist covering the contest.

The Israeli club stressed intentions to use legal services to identify the ultras, in addition to condemning any form of violence.

Meanwhile, the team coached by Dimitris Itoudis prevailed, 93-78, and went up 2-0 in the Quarterfinals of the 2025 Winner League Playoffs. Game 3 is scheduled for Friday in Menora Mivtachim Arena.

Before focusing on the Israeli league, the Tel Aviv team won the 2024-25 edition of the BKT EuroCup and clinched a berth in the 2025-26 edition of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.
