Three months before the closing chapter of the 2020-21 season, JL Bourg officially announced Laurent Legname will assume the head coaching responsibilities and replace current head coach Savo Vucevic to start the 2021-22 season. JDA Dijon also confirmed Legname’s departure at the end of the ongoing season.

Legname, 43, will forgo his option to extend his contract through the next season, as noted by Dijon. The former player took over La Jeanne in 2015 largely improving Jeep Elite Pro A performances and contributing to solid Basketball Champions League runs in recent seasons.

Vucevic, 64, is in charge of Bourg since 2016. This season he guided the French club up to the 7DAYS EuroCup Top 16 but a 0-6 run in Group G ended the European campaign.

Both head coaches will remain with their current teams until the end of the Jeep Elite Pro A season. Dijon sits in second place on a 12-3 record, while Bourg is third with a 10-3 tally.
