Tiago Splitter’s team was simply unstoppable against Dijon

Paris Basketball crushed JDA Dijon 114 – 88 in Game 3 of the French League quarterfinals to win the series 2-1 and advance to the next stage.

Nadir Hifi led five Paris players in double figures with 26 points on 7-15 triples while dishing out seven assists. Yakuba Ouattara scored 20, Tyson Ward dropped 14 points and TJ Shorts posted 12 points plus seven assists.

Paris was devastating from the get-go, taking an early 30-9 lead and closing the first period up 38 -14. Tiago Splitter’s players kept dominating to blew away their opponents.

After trailing 63 – 32 at halftime, Dijon improved its offense but couldn’t halt the action of Paris to hope for a comeback.

The trio of Gregor Hrovat (18 points, six rebounds), Ilias Kamardine (17 points) and Phil Booth (16 points) were Dijon’s top contributors.

Paris will face JL Bourg en Bresse for a spot in the Finals.

A couple of hours later, ASVEL Villeurbanne grabbed its own semifinals ticket by defeating Chalone/Saone 99 – 75 in Game 3 behind 20 points, nine rebounds and six assists courtesy of Andre Roberson.

ASVEL will play against the winner of the AS Monaco – Le Mans series, now tied at 1-1.
