Early BSL Regular Season Round 7 action featured a Krunoslav Simon outburst

Anadolu Efes jumped to 7-0 Saturday. Fellow undefeated Super Ligi side, Fenerbahce Beko hopes to match that start Sunday.

Lokman Hekim Fethiye Belediyespor – Anadolu Efes 84-90

Krunoslav Simon extremely hot shattered his personal-best pouring 42 points behind 15/19 field goals, including 4/7 long-range shots. A great offensive showing keeping his side undefeated at the domestic level.

Elgin Cook posted a team-high 25 points for the hosts.

OGM Ormanspor – Petkim Spor 90-106

Kestutis Kemzura’s team improved to 3-4. Ege Arar putting up an 18-point, 10-rebound double-double was the top player. Kendrick Ray threw in 18 more points.

On the losing side, Tu Holloway posted a team-high 17 points.

Frutti Extra Bursaspor – Turk Telekom 107-108

Carrying the offensive load over the thrilling battle, Kyle Wiltjer connected seven times from beyond the arc and finished with 36 points. However, Tyler Ennis clinched the “W” sinking the deciding bucket with seven seconds left.

Kenny Kadji’s 34 points for the Bursaspor went to waste.

Fenerbahce Beko -Darussafaka Tekfen  90 – 79

Lorenzo Brown scored 22 points, grabbed five rebounds and dished out five assists as Fenerbahce beat Darussafaka in a game that was a closer contest than what the final score shows.

Jan Vesely added 17 points and five rebounds for the winning side. Grant Jerrett posted 24 points and seven rebounds while Ryan Luther had a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds for Dacka.

Besiktas – Gaziantep 84 – 81

James Blackmon scored 28 points to lead Besiktas to its first win of the season after six losses. Just before the game, Besiktas announced that head coach Burak Biyiktay was fired and that assistant Ahmet Kandemir will serve as interim coach.

Alperen Segun contributed 14 points and Markel Segun 12 to the much-needed victory of Besiktas. The trio of  Mouhammadou Jaiteh (19 points, 12 rebounds) Can Ugur Ogut (18 points) and Brynton Lemar (17 points) was the best Gaziantep had to offer.

Galatasaray – Tofas 79-91

Berkan Durmaz shot 10-16 from the field on his way to 26 points while also grabbing 17 rebounds for a total PIR of 35. Sean Kilpatrick added 25 and Jeremy Simmons 12 points.

On the other side, Brock Motum was on fire with 30 points on 9-12 from the field including 6-9 from deep. Alex Hamilton helped with 18 points.

Afyon Belediyesi – Buyukcekmece 79-74

Francisco Cruz was on fire for the hosts with 31 points while Jonathan Macura scored 18 and Akif Guven 16 points.

For Buyukcekmece, Matthew Farrell had 24 and Karvel Anderson 12 points.

Pinar Karsiyaka – Bahcesehir Koleji 82-79

Amath M’Baye sank the game-winning buzzer-beater ending up with 14 points in the comeback win. Tony Taylor poured 28 points and Raymar Morgan posted a 17-point, 15-rebound double-double.

Erick Green’s 20 points for the visitors went to waste.
