Top-seeded Anadolu Efes got the job done and defeated Gaziantep 83-67 in Game 2 of the quarterfinals series to seal its spot in the Turkish Basketball Super League semifinals.

Tibor Pleiss lifted Ergin Ataman’s squad to victory with 16 points and 8 rebounds, Krunoslav Simon and Rodrigue Beaubois had 13 points each and Vasilije Micic finished the game with 10 points.

Mouhammadou Jaiteh’s double-double of 25 points and 10 rebounds wasn’t enough to power Gaziantep to a comeback, while Kenneth Hayes tapped 18 points and 6 assists for Nenad Markovic’s team.

Next on, Besiktas (1-0) faces Tofas at home and looks to hold on to their advantage to seal a ticket to the semifinals, while earlier this weekend, Fenerbahce swept Darussafaka to earn its spot in the semifinals as well.
