Behind 21 points by Sertac Sanli and 19 by Vasilje Micic, Efes cruised the the 96-77  win in Game 1 of the BSL semifinals against Besiktas.

Sehmus Hazer had a great game for the losing side with 30 points, three rebounds and seven assists, however most of his points were scored when Efes had already a 20-point lead.

Anadolu Efes started the game making 10 out of their first 11 shots, Micic had scored 12 points in the first five minutes and the hosts ended the first quarter leading by 18 points (35-17). That was too much for the young and unexperienced Besiktas which was more than rattled by the efficiency of Efes‘ game.

After a relatively balanced second period, Efes led by 22 at half time (53-31) thanks to a buzzer beating three by Erten Gazi. There was no coming back after that for Besiktas which trailed even by 27 points (62-35).

NBA lottery prospect Alperen Sengun of Besiktas finished the night with six points and three rebounds having early foul troubles.
