Both Anadolu Efes and Fenerbahce Beko secure wins at the domestic level

Anadolu Efes beat Turk Telekom, 99-84, on the road Sunday. Seventh win in a row across all competitions, including two in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.

Serbian star Vasilije Micic delivered a game-high 24 points behind 9/13 field goals and dished out six assists in the BSL Regular Season Round 22 affair. Shane Larkin, Chris Singleton, James Anderson, Bryant Dunston, Krunoslav Simon, and Filip Petrusev did not suit up.

The team guided by Ergin Ataman went up to 17-4 in the Turkish League. Up next, a couple of away games to continue the EuroLeague Regular Season, Bitci Baskonia on Tuesday and AS Monaco on Friday.

After five consecutive BSL wins, Turk Telekom fell to 10-12 and a couple of games outside the top eight spots of the domestic table. JaJuan Johnson scored a team-high 25 points versus the defending EuroLeague and Turkey champions.

Earlier, Fenerbahce Beko improved its league-leading record to 18-4 rolling Semt77 Yalovaspor, 89-63. Melih Mahmutoglu registered a game-high 19 points with teammates Marial Shayok (shoulder), Pierria Henry (knee), Danilo Barthel, Jan Vesely (ankle), Ahmet Duverioglu (thigh), Nando de Colo, Marko Guduric, and Devin Booker sidelined.

In the meeting of teams based in Bursa, Frutti Extra Bursaspor defeated Tofas, 90-83. Derek Needham paved the way with a season-high 35 points.

Former Northern Illinois standout Eugene German dropped 33 points as Yukatel Merkezefendi upset Pinar Karsiyaka, 85-83.
