Tarik Biberovic avoided a serious injury in his most recent showing with Fenerbahce Beko.
The 24-year-old forward did not suffer any ligament rupture, as reported by Bugra Uzar of Eurohoops Turkiye on Friday. Therefore, he will not have surgery to address the injury setback.
A specific recovery timeline after hurting his left knee in Game 1 of a best-of-three series opposite Turk Telekom on Thursday will depend on further medical evaluation over the next few days.
Türk Telekom maçında sol dizinden sakatlanan Tarık Biberovic’in bağlarında kopma tespit edilmedi. Dolayısıyla şu anda endişe verici, ameliyat olmasını gerektirecek bir durum yok. Tarık’ın sahalara dönüş süreci, önümüzdeki günlerde yapılacak detay tetkikler sonrası netleşecek. pic.twitter.com/7gT1bQQ6Lr

With the Memphis Grizzlies controlling his NBA rights since drafting him with the 56th overall pick in 2023, the native of Zenica has been officially confirmed as a candidate to finally complete the jump to the league based in North America during the offseason. Certainly, a serious injury and potential surgery would have slowed down or even negated such prospects.
For now, he is placed on the injury list of Fener, as the team coached by Sarunas Jasikevicius, recently crowned Turkish Airlines EuroLeague champion, focuses on completing a back-to-back in the Turkiye Sigorta Basketbol Super Ligi. Up 1-0 in the Quarterfinals of the BSL Playoffs 2025, Game 2 will be played in Ankara Arena on Saturday.
