Third defeat in a row for the Belgrade red and white team after losing the first two Euroleague games

Like many European leagues, the ABA started its fixtures this weekend, but the Euroleague teams played on Monday.

In his official debut with Partizan, Miikka Muurinen helped the Serbian team grab the win against Krka. The Finnish talent finished the game with 7 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists in 17:06 on the floor. Marinkovic (12), Jones, and Puksevski (10 each) were the only players from Partizan in scoring double digits. Victor Bailey had a great game with 22 points and 5 rebounds, but not enough for Krka.

The most comfortable win for the Euroleague teams was Dubai’s, as the home team had no problem dominating Split. Dwyane Bacon led the charge with 17 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 assists, while Petrusev (13 points), Kondic (12 points), and Prepelic (11 points) also had some good offensive efforts. Leon Radosevic was the Croatian side’s best player with 15 points and 6 rebounds.

It wasn’t a round full of victories for the Euroleague teams, as Crvena Zvezda lost against Zadar to make it three defeats in a row after the double loss of Euroleague’s opening double round. Despite a good start to the game, Sfairopoulos’ team was always trailing and couldn’t complete the comeback. Ebuka Izundu (15+7) and Semi Ojeleye (15 points and 10 rebounds) tried their best, but couldn’t overcome the great night of Beau Beech (14 points plus 10 rebounds) and Vladimir Mihailovic (21 points and 4 rebounds).
