Overcoming a slow start in Round 6 of the Turkiye Sigorta Basketbol Super Ligi Regular Season, Fenerbahce Beko prevailed, 87-78, over Mersin Spor in Servet Tazegul Arena.

Aiming to force Fener to a third straight loss, after two in a double-game week of the 2025-26 EuroLeague Regular Season, the hosts peaked at an eight-point advantage but fell into a double-digit deficit after the break and could not recover with multiple comeback bids falling short of regaining the lead. The defending champions instead forced them to 2-4, and themselves improved to 5-1.

Scoring ten points in the fourth quarter to seal the deal in Mersin, Tarik Biberovic registered a team-high 18 points with 7/10 makes, including four triples. Between injuries and domestic league roster restrictions, Jilson Bango, Brandon Boston Jr., Talen Horton-Tucker, Scottie Wilbekin, and Arturs Zagars were unavailable for head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius on Sunday.

Aiming for a 6-0 start, Anadolu Efes hosts Glint Manisa in Istanbul’s Turkcell Basketball Development Center on Monday. Besiktas Gain went up to 6-0 with a 95-77 victory versus Yukatel Merkezefendi in Denizli’s Pamukkale University Arena on Saturday.

In Tofas Arena on Saturday, Malachi Flynn scored 36 points for Bahcesehir Koleji in a 77-75 win over Bursaspor, which was marred by an incident involving fans after the buzzer.
