Trabzonspor announced the addition of Mexican guard Jorge Gutierrez. The 27 years old player arrives from Brooklyn Nets after being waived by the NBA team.
Gutierrez has played in several other NBA teams other than the Nets. He’s been on and off in the Milwaukee Bucks while he also played for Charlotte Hornets for a short amount of time.
After going undrafted in the 2012 NBA draft, Gutierrez joined the Denver Nuggets for the 2012 NBA Summer League. In August 2012, he tried out for Partizan in Serbia but was eventually not signed. In October 2012, he began his professional career by joining Pioneros de Quintana Roo of Mexico for the rest of the 2012 LNBP season.
