Day 27 of the Turkish League ended with Buyukcekmece’s victory over Trabzonspor.
Earlier on Sunday, Darussafaka lost at home 85-88 in a thrilling overtime game to Banvit. It was a neck and neck contest that was eventually decided in the extra period. Andy Rautins finished the game with 21 points for the winners, while Scottie Wilbekin scored a game-high 28 points and also added eight assists for the losing squad.
Galatasaray enjoyed a great Sunday afternoon after defeating Besiktas at home to improve its record to 11-15. Venard Hendrix (22p. 11r.) and Gregory Renfroe (18p. 6a.) led the way for the winners.
On Saturday, Anadolu Efes got past Buyuksehir, thanks to Krunoslav Simon‘s 21 points. Efes improved to a 19-7 record, while Buyuksehir fell to 13-13 on the year. In addition, Pinar Karsiyaka and Gaziantep enjoyed home victories after defeating Usak Sportif and Sakarya respectively.
