Krunoslav Simon scored 23 out of his 31 points (8/11 triples) in the fourth period as Anadolu Efes defeated Istanbul Buyuksehir 93 – 80 on the road for Round 13 of the Turkish BSL League regular season.

With Efes down 69 – 68 and eight minutes left to play, Simon “erupted” with 16 points in five minutes that helped his team make it 73 – 87 and basically secure the win.

Vasilije Micic was “business as usual” with a double-double of 14 points and 11 assists for the winning squad. Dogus Balbay added 13 points and Brock Motum also scored 13 and grabbed five rebounds for Efes that climbed to 10 – 3 with this result.

From Buyuksehir’s side, Luka Babic had 19 points, nine assists, and seven rebounds and Mehmet Yagmur 13 points, seven assists plus five boards. The team is now 2-11 and last in the standings.
