Vasilije Micic notched a double-double and led Efes to a road win against Besiktas in the Turkish League

Despite a slow start, Anadolu Efes bounced back and eventually won 80-68 against Besiktas Sompo Sigorta on Day 2 of the Turkish League.

Alec Peters and Vasilije Micic scored 15 points each for the winners while Ahmet Tuncer added 12. Micic also dished 12 assists for a double-double performance.

Shaquielle McKissic was the only double-digit scorer for Besiktas with game-high 22 points on 9-12 shooting. Ismet Akpinar helped with nine points.

Over the weekend, Nando De Colo led Fenerbahce BEKO to victory over Gaziantep while Zach Auguste put on a huge performance in Galatasaray’s win over Bahcesehir.

Pinar Karsiyaka, Fenerbahce, Efes, Bursaspor and Turk Telekom are the five teams that started the season with two wins and hold the top of the standings.
