Besiktas officially announced the addition of American swingman Kyle Weems with a 1+1 contract (club option, according to sources). He is the second player that arrives to the Turkish club from the Pro A championship, after Michael Thompson.
The 26-year old player has spent the entirety of his professional career so far balling in Europe. Last season he was a part of Strasbourg with which he made his Euroleague debut averaging 7.9 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game. In Eurocup, he scored 11.4 points and grabbed 4 rebounds per game, helping the club reach the competition’s Finals for the first time ever.
In 2015, Kyle Weems won the Eurochallenge trophy with Nanterre.
