The VTB United League schedule for the 2019-20 season was released. Action will tip off on September 25th with the first games of the regular season.

Per VTB: “VTB United League has released 2019/20 schedule. Regular season will start on September 25, 2019, and will end on April 26, 2020.

13 participating teams will play round-robin format.

VTB United League 2019/20 schedule is now available on League’s site.

The League’s top eight teams will advance to playoffs which will decide the champion. All series will be best of three, with 1-1-1 format.

When creating the schedule, the League considered interests of participating clubs and strived for the balance, – as said by League’s general director Ilona Korstin. – This season, three United League teams play in EuroLeague with another five in other European competitions. We communicated with every club to find optimal dates. Fans’ opinion was a key factor as well. Every week will feature a supergame. Furthermore, the schedule provides breaks for FIBA national games right after VTB League All-Star game set on February 16. I believe we’ll see a spectacular regular season full of surprises.”
