oston Celtics, kulübün oyuncu izleme ve değerlendirme departmanını güçlendirmek adına önemli bir ismi kadrosuna kattı. Mike Scotto’nun (Hoopshype) haberine göre, Panathinaikos ile 2009 ve 2011 yıllarında EuroLeague şampiyonluğu yaşayan Drew Nicholas, Celtics‘e oyuncu personelinden sorumlu icra direktörü olarak katıldı.
Avrupa kariyerinde Panathinaikos dışında Fabriano, Livorno, Tau, Benetton, Efes Pilsen, Armani Milano ve CSKA Moskova gibi önemli kulüplerde de forma giyen Nicholas, profesyonel kariyerine scout olarak devam etmişti.
44 yaşındaki Nicholas, geçtiğimiz sezon Brooklyn Nets’in scouting ekibinde görev almış, öncesinde ise Denver Nuggets’ta scouting direktörlüğü yapmıştı.
